Delete Account
You can delete your «Birga» account two ways: in the app, or — even if you've already uninstalled the app — by email.
Option 1 — In the app
- Go to Settings → Danger Zone
- Tap “Delete account”
- Choose a reason and confirm — your account is deleted immediately
Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.
Option 2 — Without the app, by email
You can delete your account even without installing the app. Write to the address below — we'll act on your request within 10 days.

What gets deleted
- Profile and photos
- Conversations and messages (on both sides)
- Matches and likes
- Notifications and push token
- Location
- Sign-in credentials
What stays, and for how long
- Payment records
- 5 years after the end of the payment year (phone number — 1 year after payment)
- Report and ban records
- Without your contact details — kept indefinitely, for safety
- Deleted account's internal identifier (with sign-up and deletion dates)
- Indefinitely
- Backups
- Up to 4 weeks
- Server logs
- 14 days
- Error reports
- Up to 90 days
- Event queue
- 7 days
